Cafe Lane

Cafe Lane is a self-made blog for my undying love to Coffee. The name came from the french word of coffee which is "Cafe"and Lane symbolizes a way for me to discover a heartwarming coffee shop which is Instagram worthy and budget friendly.

We can’t deny the fact that coffee has been part of our everyday lives and in line with the trend, this blog is part of our Creative Writing class that serves a great opportunity to unleash our creative soul.  Through this blog, I want to share the memorable moments I had and the exceptional characteristics of each shop I visited. Of course, a nice review and write up cannot be fruitful without using the sense word that I have learned in the class, Creative Writing for the currents semester  so I'll be using some of the sense word I know throughout my blog.

Known for its “SELFIE COFFEE”, this travel-inspired coffee shop was the first ever to introduced this trendy concept to the millennial in town. If you love travel and coffee it’s the best place to quench your sweet cravings. With a great quality of coffee and lavish yet very affordable food offers, no wonder the place quickly made noise in the heart of the city.

Regardless of its simplicity, the shop might look simple  on  the outside but when you step inside it gives a solace ambiance and perky feels. The shop concept will ignite every wanderlust’s soul. The shop decors point to different traveled destination, from the stylish world clocks to the artistic coffee bean world map would surely awake your adventurer side. The place is cozy on its own way and simple yet worth the effort to take photos. Eventhough, the place is not that big but all the elements are nicely adorned. With regards to the concept, this shop has a friendly smile, lively greetings and accommodating staff. Its a self-served place so you have to get your order in counter. What’’s good about this shop is they never miss to have new ideas to catch the customers attention like offer tempting and fun promos.

Aside from their tantalizing coffee, they also offer bracing tea, smoothies and sandwiches. Luckily, I got their BOGO promo, I have the chance to try two of their frappe which is the Kingdom of Caramel and Caramel Cheesecake frappe, paired up with their revel bars. Kingdom of Caramel catches my attention because of its unique name but I never thought the taste would be so delectable. Its oozing with caramel taste but the right blend of coffee makes it very tempting to taste. As for Caramel Cheesecake, you would really taste the cheesecake and the blend of coffee has a smooth taste. The revel bars also is so luscious especially they serve it hot which makes it crispy on the outside but chewy on the inside.

For more information and exciting promos, you can visit the shop at 27 Pabayo-Gaerlan St. Marfori Compound near The Backyard grill or you can visit their facebook page Bean Voyage Coffee Co.

Choosing a restaurant, one must not only consider the food but the interior design of the place as well. Known to many, this shop offers unique dishes, an elegant vibe at a very reasonable price and a fusion of Filipino and international cuisine. The vibrant vibe of the place will never disappoint you. From its modern design furniture to its classy chandelier that would give a homey feels. The chic white color walls display a very clean look on the inside making it more classy and elegant. They also have amenities like fast wifi.

The cafe offers a lot not just on their Menu but also they have one of the friendliest and accommodating crew. Their staff gladly gives warm welcome to customer and attentively assist them with their needs. What amused me a lot was when one of the crew suggested to move my table to one of the best spot of the place, it gave me a better view to take some photos. I like how the way they delightfully serve the customers, from getting their order, serving the food to giving the bills.

Aside from being a comfortable place to lounge in, it also gives you a good food and thirst-quenching drink. The place has a menu of good rice meal to handle your hunger and a platter of goodies to satisfy your sweet cravings. I tried their Hazelnut Latte for the first time and its a big thumbs up. The foamy top of the coffee gives a velvety touch of its aroma. Also, the hazel nut is well blend with the coffee taste. Its not that strong but it is not that weak either. It has a right proportion of sweetness and right kick of aroma. The coffee also tastes good when its paired up to their mouthwatering ultimate clubhouse sandwich. The fresh lettuce and tomato suits the wheat bread, I never tasted coffee and bread that good before. They have more tasty food on their menu and I wish to try it some time. The price is a bit expensive but its worth all the penny.

Funny how I remember my first impression on the shop when I first saw it. From the glass walls, I could see all these decors and I thought maybe they were selling ornaments for people who own a coffee establishment. But the impression didn’t last long when I first set foot on the place, I was greeted delightfully with a beaming friendly smile by the two guards outside and the welcoming indulgent aroma of coffee. Known to many as the most instagram-worthy coffee shop, with its vibrant ambiance, lavish food choices and flavorful coffee. No one wonder this place made buzz around the city.

Becoming on trend, the Coffee Project is where everyone can enjoy. It is not just for the millennial but for all ages. I can say the shop style is very refreshing to look. With its fancy design, from all the colorful flowers, relaxing green ornaments to its artistic wall graffiti and simple yet elegant chairs and tables. The concept of the shop is too catchy to forget. At first glance, it looks messy, but if you look closely it’s like a mixture of vintage and bohemian style that never misses to include the modern ambiance which make it very trendy. One could really kill some time to their enticing music and fast wifi that covers a maximum of 3 devices. The shop also has the best and cozy comfort rooms with an artistry painting on its walls, clear mirror and shimmering floor.

One must say a price won’t matter if it’s worth it and that’s all I can say for the menu. Coffee Project has a lot to offer to their customer from the not so pricey to its best -sellers. Many are hooked to their best-selling coffee, the Vietnamese Latte which is made from Nguyen beans from Vietnam. But what caught my attention is the Coffee Indochine, the name itself was very unique and intriguing. Curious to the taste, I ordered the grande to satisfy my cravings but in just one sip, I fell inlove with its flavor, everything burst out of flavor from a flavorful and aromatic taste to a light kick of chocolaty with a perfect foamy cream that gives a feeling of liveliness and satisfaction.
